UNILITE polycarbonate flat skylight and UNILITE flat glass skylight

UNILITE polycarbonate (PC) flat skylights and UNILITE flat glass skylights are flat skylights made of polycarbonate and insulated glass units, respectively.

UNILITE polycarbonate flat skylights are made of a thermoplastic weather-resistant material. An acrylic coating protects against the sun's ultraviolet rays, preventing them from penetrating. The skylight is built in layers, which both makes it durable and gives it optimal insulation properties and long service life. The polycarbonate is enclosed in extruded aluminium profiles incl. sealing tapes, which act as a seal between skylight and frame and eliminates the thermal bridge. PC flat skylights are a great solution for roofs with a slope above 7°.

UNILITE flat glass skylights consist of insulated glass units with 2- or 3-layered energy glass (inner glass in laminated personal safety glass) and with U-value down to 0.6.

Flat glass skylights are enclosed in extruded aluminium profiles incl. sealing tape, which acts as a seal between skylight and frame and eliminates the thermal bridge. The skylight is available in almost all sizes. We recommend flat glass skylights for roofs with a slope of minimum 5° - but they can also be used for completely flat roofs, where the necessary slope is created by adjusting the frames.

Flat skylights are available in a range of standard sizes and both as fixed and openable for fire or comfort ventilation. Components for openable versions are not included in this EPD.
