Fermacell fibergips

Fermacell® fiber plaster

fermacell® fiber plaster is a homogeneous and fibre-reinforced gypsum-bonded board that consists of approx. 80% gypsum and approx. 20% paper fibres. The plate is hydrophobic and produced in accordance with EN15283-2.

The natural raw materials are mixed with water and pressed under high pressure into a homogeneous sheet without the addition of binders. The result is strong, robust, impact- and screw-resistant fibre-plaster boards, which with a single layer can meet most requirements for both fire and sound.

When suspended in 12.5 mm fiber plaster, up to 50 kg can be suspended per screw (Ø5mm) with the use of plugs and 30kg per screw without plugs.

Fermacell® fiber plaster can be used as cladding for load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls on steel or wooden frame substructures according to detailed instructions. Also suitable as ceiling covering.
