Ready-mixed concrete subject to exposure classes XD1, XS1, XS2, XF2, XF3 and XA2 are used for: Concrete surfaces exposed to airborne chlorides, mimimal de-icing salts or located closed to areas subjected to de-icing salts (XD1), concrete exposed to airborne salt from sea water (XS1), concrete permanently submerged in sea water (XS2), vertical concrete surfaces exposed to freezing and airborne chlorides from de-icing salts or sea water (XF2), horizontal concrete surfaces exposed to rain and freezing (XF3), and also concrete exposed to natural soil and ground water with moderate aggressive chemical environment as defined in DS/EN 206 (XA2).
